Hi, I’m Ms. K,

I’m a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an ex-wife, a hard working full-time employee at a great job and am also a newly sober drunkard!

I have been overweight my entire life. Now that I’m sober, I am finding it even harder to kick my bad eating habits because sugar is my friend! Any one who has quit drinking knows the sugar often plays a big role in replacing the booze. But I am realizing I am eating for comfort and emotional reasons. I can’t numb-out on wine, so I eat cake!

My health needs to improve which requires losing weight and moving more. Now its time to figure out how to stop eating crap while staying sober. Through support from my sober sisters, my family and this blog, I am hoping to get there!
